WOYWW 217

Hello everyone! It´s really me! I took a ´vacation´ from Julia´s WOYWW, because I felt that I had no time to make return visits to your blogs. But here I am again :)

And my desk... it´s my floor! I´m trying to make a Japanese Koi fish kite (or carp streamer, koinobori) of a plastic bag. A bit shiny pic because of the plastic. Never done before, so let´s see how it works! Unfortunately there´s no wind at this moment... I´ll show you later how it looks, when finished.

  4. That is the most beautiful kite I have EVER seen. I'm truly impressed.

I started to stop by when I saw your name in the comments, then noticed Julia's linky was up, so went there first. You are not alone in not finishing the class. I have to figure out how to motivate people so they WANT to finish.

Thanks for the previous visit and happy WOYWW from #2.

  5. Hello Tuire, welcome back! Love your sparkly fish..it's going to be a fab kite!
I have got the crocheting bug..and do you know that's its your fault?? Lol! Some time ago you snowed the most beautiful blanket you'd made, I think it was for your granddaughter....all soft and beautiful colours, I loved it and still remember it well. I wanted to make something like that and so I learned how to crochet from YouTube tutorials and here I am, on my second blanket now!! So a big thank you from me :-)
    Hugs, LLJ 20 xx

  18. Tämä on metka juttu. Laukkuja olen näistä nähnyt tehtävän ja opistossa siskokin niitä väsäili. Varmaan toimii leijanakin ja lienee kestäväkin.
