WOYWW #163 - what a week...

What has happened after last Wednesday? Nothing on my workdesk, as you can see from the pic below.
Last week my DD2 came for a two-day-visit and left on friday. Friday night my DD1 called me and told that Olivia has got a tummy bug. And as always in these cases, the timing was perfect: Her DH had just left for a few days trip and was coming back on Sunday evening! So, on Saturday morning I went there to help them for some hours... and on Sunday evening I got the same disease!
Don´t know much about the Monday... Tuesday was much better, and now I feel... hmm... as normal as possible ;)
But, after all, here you have an "artistic" pic of my desk ;)
And the last week´s vine trellis on its place:
Happy WOYWW to everyone!

  1. Hey there Tuire!
There's lots of lovely bits and pieces on your desk today! I've never noticed the strings of beads before - do you make jewellery or use them in your collages/dolls?

  2. I'm still waiting to blog your dolls I bought, they have taken up residence on my stamping wall, I cuddle them regularly and they often swap places without me knowing... the trellis looks gooood,

kids always share their bugs, bless 'em, glad you are feeling better, love the shot of dismembered limbs by the sewing machine...

  3. Glad to hear you're feeling better after your horrid tummy bug, Tuire. Great looking desk (but I hope you caught the sewing machine before it fell off lol!!)

Thanks for your visit, and glad you enjoyed my Messing About with Inks. I wish the kitchen roll idea had been my own, but unfortunately not - Dyan Reaveley (the inventor of the inks) did it on her videos - I agree, it's genius! Trouble is, it's generating so much beautiful kitchen roll that I'll never get round to using it all!

    Happy WOYWW,

  7. Well at least the bug is staying within the family! Well done with the trellis, would love to see a pic when the vine has grown over it.
